Use of Template Drawings

The built-in DWG Export in Revit always creates a new drawing from an empty DWG file.
AutoCAD users usually create DWG files from a “Template-Drawing”. These templates contain Layers, plot style tables, blocks, fonts, hatch patterns etc.
Using Template-Drawings is important in order to have consistency in the DWG files. With the EDER-Tool you can create DWG files based on a drawing template directly out of Revit.
